What is Getaway Points?

Getaway Points is a unique reward program where members earn points for completing select behaviors (see your individual sponsor for a complete list). Getaway Points are deposited into personal accounts that can be redeemed for leisure travel or merchandise purchases. Your Getaway Points will accrue (without expiration) until you decide to redeem them for discounts off your leisure travel or merchandise or until your account becomes inactive (see your individual sponsor for a complete list of reasons).

How do I become a member of Getaway Points?

You are eligible to join the program if you meet the following criteria:
  • Resident of the US
  • You have a active email account
  • Twenty-one years of age or older
  • Have internet access
  • Have a valid credit card

Does it cost me any money to join?

Not a thing. Getaway Points is a free benefit to you because of your relationship with your sponsor. Sign up today and start earning points - your discounted vacation and merchandise is right around the corner.

What are the benefits of Getaway Points?

You can redeem Getaway Points for discounts off your leisure travel as well as on a variety of merchandise products. You'll get discounts on car rentals, hotel, cruise and vacation packages as well as hundreds of merchandise products from electronics to toys to home and garden.

How do I earn points?

Once you're enrolled, it's easy to start earning. You earn 100 points for each successfully completely select behaviors (outlined by your sponsor). Then as your balance builds, you can redeem your points for discounts off your leisure travel or off merchandise purchases made on www.getawaypoints.com. It's easy and rewarding.

Your points will be kept in your password protected individual account and they'll never expire!

What can I redeem my points on?

TRAVEL: You can redeem your Getaway Points on any car rental, hotel, car rental, cruise or vacation package booked through www.getawaypoints.com.
MERCHANDISE: You can redeem your Getaway Points on any merchandise item offered in the www.getawaypoints.com merchandise catalog.

How many points do I need to make a redemption?

The number of Getaway Points you can use will vary on what you're looking to purchase (travel or merchandise). The website is updated frequently with travel and merchandise specials so check the site frequently to find the deals on the trips and products you're looking for.

Can't I pay for my item using just Getaway Points?

Getaway Points is a unique program that utilizes cash + points for payment, so while the program doesn't allow you to redeem points for 100% of any one product, your points give you a discount that, depending on the product, ranges from 5% - 65% off retail. When you make a purchase using your Getaway Points you pay using 'cash + points' where the price of your booking will automatically be discounted by the difference to be paid in points.

When should I expect to see my points added to my account?

Point balances are updated on a weekly basis.

My points haven't been credited to my account, now what?

Point balances are updated on a weekly basis. Points are only award on specific behaviors (see: How do I earn points). If, after 7 days of booking a qualifying behavior you don't see your points added, please call us at 1.866.215.1873.

How do I enroll (register) for Getaway Points?

If this is the first time you've ever registered for Getaway Points please following these simple steps:
  • Make sure your sponsor has the email address you intent to use and be sure it use it when accessing Getaway Points
  • MGo to www.getawaypoints.com
  • MClick on the "Register" button
  • MEnter your email address
  • MGetaway Points will verify your email address and if your record exists you will prompt to create a user name and password*
  • MOnce a user name and password have been created, Getaway Points will send a confirmation email
  • MOpen the email and click on the link to activate your account
  • * If you are not prompted to create a user name and password, please be sure you have completed step #1. Note: It could take 24 hours for any updates made to your sponsor to sync with Getaway Points.

I just updated my profile why can I not register?

It takes 24 hours for any updated profile information to sync with Getaway Points. Please come back tomorrow and you should have no problem registering.

I'm still having trouble register who can I contact?

You can call 1.866.215.1873 for assistance M-F 9-5 CT.

I am already a registered member but my existing credential won't let me in?

After you have enrolled, go to www.getawaypoints.com and enter your username and password and click on "Login" and you will be directed to the members-only site.

How do I login to the secure Getaway Points?

After you have enrolled (registered), go to www.getawaypoints.com and enter your username and password and click on "Login". It's that simple.

What if I forgot my password?

Click on the "Forgot your Password?" link. Enter your User Name to receive your password. Your password will be sent to the email address in your profile. If you think your login and password are correct and still can't get into the members-only site, call 1.866.215.1873.

Who can use the advantages of my membership?

Membership benefits and services are only available to Getaway Points members and their immediate family members who reside in the same household. For members-only specials, the member MUST be traveling and the discount is applied to the member's purchase only. See Terms & Conditions for complete details.

How do I contact customer service if a question I have is not answered on this page?

How do I return or exchange a merchandise redeemed item?

Please do not return an item without contacting Merchandise Support as we must be able to identify, track, and process your merchandise return. Without proper identification Merchandise Support will be unable to process return and/or credit your account. Contact Merchandise Support immediately at merchandisesupport@getawaypoints.com if any components of your shipment or product are missing.
  • You must return any damaged or defective product within 10 days of receipt
  • Obtain a return authorization number and shipping information from the Reward Headquarters by emailing us at merchandisesupport@getawaypoints.com
  • When contacting Merchandise Support please include the following information:
    Name
    Address (including city, state and zip code)
    Phone number
    Email address
    Item number
    Order number
  • Items returned without return authorization will be inspected
  • Restocking fees may apply
  • When returning your product, please enclose all the original packing materials and insure your shipment
  • Replacements and/or refunds will be issued upon receipt of the item. Return shipping/freight is your responsibility
  • A representative from Reward Headquarters will keep you apprised of the status of your order and the estimated time of return

When can I expect my merchandise item will arrive?

Most products will ship from our distribution center by DHL or Parcel Post within three to five business days after you place your order.
  • Item descriptions indicate the amount of time you can expect your order to take. If a manufacturer is shipping your award directly, allow two to six weeks for delivery. Specialty products such as furniture may require a longer lead-time
  • If a product is not immediately available, you will receive an estimated delivery date
  • When orders include more than one product, you may receive the products in several shipments
  • If a product is discontinued, we will try to substitute a similar product of equal or greater value. If a suitable substitute is not available, we will notify you. At that time, you may make another selection
  • All orders include freight charges. If the carrier charges you for the delivery of your merchandise, please contact Reward Headquarters
  • Check your order carefully before signing for your shipment.

    Confirm all merchandise is in good condition - make note of the item quantities and condition on both the original delivery receipt and the copy. Validate the original bill of lading is correct - we cannot repair or replace items that are not listed on the original bill of lading. If major damage is evident, please refuse the damaged items only (do not return companion pieces) and contact Reward Headquarters as soon as possible.
